Caring for China Center

John is a .Net computer programmer. He came to America on a work visa, but after several years his employer laid him off. Now he is searching for a new work sponsor. If he does not find a new sponsor, he will have to return to China.

For John, returning to China would be very dangerous. While in America, he has been volunteering time to help the Chinese Democracy movement. The Chinese government knows about his involvement. They will not be happy to see his return and he will likely be imprisoned immediately upon return to China.

John speaks Mandarin Chinese and English and would be a great help to the Caring for China Center. It would be great if we could sponsor his work visa but we’ll need your help.
